Amitabh Bachchan goes to theatre to relive ‘Bajirao Mastani’ experience

Mumbai: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ was definitely not a one-time watch for Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan! The star, who is currently busy working on his next thriller ‘TE3N’, in Kolkata, squeezed in some time to catch a screening of the film for the second time.
Amitabh, who has always made it a point to compliment and nurture young talent in the industry, wrote Ranveer Singh a letter, praising him for his performance as the Peshwa. The film also stars Big B’s ‘Piku’ co-star Deepika Padukone and his ‘Waqt’ co-star Priyanka Chopra.
After watching the film, Amitabh took to his blog to share a few pictures of his day at the office and his drive to the theatre. After writing about his day driving Park Lane in Kolkata, the actor said, “ BUT .. having come out of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ at a theatre again tonight, it haunts you and stays with you for long .. you somehow never want to leave it .. to live in its world and be a part of this fascinating story .. !!”
This is not the first time he wrote about the film in his blog. Last week, the actor said, “Looking at what has been 2015 and looking forward to the turn of the year to 2016 .. what brings it .. what combines it brings about .. what apprehensions .. what expectations .. and what assumptions .. And I gloat and float over the film of immense stupendous quality -
Bajirao Mastani ..”
Amitabh had also paid a surprise visit to the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ sets in Mumbai, when Ranveer was shooting his ‘Malhari’ song sequence.
