Trains and railway stations in the NCR region are also being checked.

Lucknow: Intelligence agencies have informed the Railway Protection Force (RPF) that bomb blasts could take place on trains on the Kanpur-Delhi route.
Mr Shekeel Ahmad, a senior RPF official in Kanpur said that security has been upgraded for all trains passing through the Kanpur railway station and special checking squads had been pressed into service.
A thorough checking of the railway station and the trains was being done on a regular basis. Trains and railway stations in the NCR region are also being checked.
