Rajesh’s next would be with music director-actor GV Prakash.

We had already reported that filmmaker Rajesh’s next would be with music director-actor GV Prakash titled Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru (KIK). Now, rumours are abuzz that Rajesh is likely to do a film without Santhanam, who has been a regular in all films from Siva Manasula Sakthi to the recent Arya-starrer Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga. In fact, there had been reports saying Bala Saravanan, who teamed up with Prakash in Darling might provide the comic relief in KIK.
When DC contacted Rajesh, he said, “I don’t know the sources who put these rumours online, but they are sadly misinformed. In fact, I haven’t even approached Santhanam till this date, so I can’t say if he would be a part of the film or not. Everything is still in the nascent stage. First, we wanted to finalise the heroines. So, we tried approaching Keerthy Suresh and Samantha; but they are busy with their existing commitments.”
It is learnt that Prakash himself will compose music for KIK and the film is expected to start rolling in the beginning of next year. Rajesh also quickly adds that he’d like to do a film with Santhanam, with the latter being the hero this time! “He is doing a film for Thenandal films as a hero. I want to direct a film with him, casting him as the main lead, and I am planning to meet him regarding this soon.”
