Mumbai: It is Salman Khan’s 50th birthday today, and here’s one party where everyone’s invited! Fans of the superstar, from Surat have baked him a gigantic 400 foot cake that weighs in at 4,000kgs.
The Bollywood ‘Bhai’, who has broken several box office records this year, all thanks to his fans, has added another record to that list. According to reports, this large cake has made its way on to the Guinness Book of World Records.
A few pictures of the large cake, with vanilla frosting and edible photos of Salman from his hit flick, made their way online this morning. After officially claiming a spot in the record books, the cake will be cut and distributed to local orphanages. It has been reported that the team behind this mammoth project, thought of living upto bhaijaan’s example and going the charitable way with this celebration.
A report also states that the cake will go out to orphaned children in the area, so that they too can enjoy the party. A number of fans had gathered in the early hours of the morning to get a glimpse of the large cake and take pictures with it.
