Imran Khan says no to VIP protocol

The PTI chief said that the nation was united against the VIP culture and protocol.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said his party’s provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not even stop traffic for Prime Minister Na-waz Sharif and end the VIP culture.

“We’ll be making a decision soon in the Khyber Pahtunkhwa assembly against the VIP culture and protocol, no traffic will be blocked anywhere,” Imran Khan said while addressing a massive rally in Lodhran last night.

“I will meet Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in this regard. Traffic will not be stopped for any VIP protocol, even if it is the Prime Minister. We will start the change from Khyber Pa-khtunkhwa,” he said.

“Traffic will not be blocked even for the Prime Minister in the province and if anyone is scared about his life, he better stay home,” he added.

The PTI chief said that the nation was united against the VIP culture and protocol. Bisma, a minor girl lost her life on Wednesday after her father failed to get her to the Civil Hospital due to the heavy security protocol.
