Kate, William star of Royal party as family attends traditional Christmas service

Led by the Queen, the Royal Family on Friday attended the traditional Christmas Day Church service on the Sardingham estate.

Well-wishers were seen waiting in line for hours, sporting festive jumpers and Union flag fancy dress, to get a glimpse of the Royal Family as they walk past after they leave the church following a second service.
Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte were not present, though it was speculated that the young Prince could make his first appearance at the service this year.
The Queen arrived in a car and was seen getting out with daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex. She arrived in a brown fur coat, which she has worn on previous occasions, but soon changed into a bright red dress.
Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge formed the star attraction of the Royal party, with the Duchess dressed in festive calf-length green coat and a matching brooch.
