Ministers expressed their support for the stir which has entered the 33rd day.
BHADRAVATI: Shivamogga MP B.S.Yeddyurappa and Rajya Sabha MP Ayanur Manjunath visited agitating workers of Mysore Paper Mills at Bhadravati on Friday and expressed their support for the stir which has entered the 33rd day.
Addressing a rally, Mr Yeddyurappa said: “I will write to CM Siddaramaiah to fix a date for a meeting to resolve the Mysore Paper Mills deadlock within a week. If the CM fails to respond, I and Manjunath will join the protesting workers till they get justice.”
Criticising the move of MPM MD Harsha Gupta to lay off employees, he suspected that the government was planning to sell the sick industry.
