Malaysian dancer roped in for an item number

Malaysia-based Punjabi Manisha Kaur has been roped in for a sensational belly dance by director Kazhali for his movie Saaindhaadu, which is billed as a medical thriller. It’s heard that the song will be akin to the one in Mani Ratnam’s Guru in which B’town actress Mallika Sherawat sizzled. Manisha says that she loves the way her nightclub dance Arabic Kuthirai has shaped up.

“I came to know that Kazhali was in Malaysia and was looking out for a girl who could do a belly dance in his film, for the portions based in Malaysia. I was auditioned among many and he was impressed with my dancing skills. I have also acted in few scenes apart from this sensuous number,” the Punjabi kudi quips.

Manisha says that she regularly watches Tamil films and is a fan of Ajith, Suriya and Vijay; Atharvaa is a recent inclusion in her list. But more than all these stars, she gets excited while speaking about Anirudh. “I love his music, his looks and some of his presentations. I am highly impressed.”
