Nitish Kumar seeks ban on 15-year-old diesel vehicles
The decision was taken during a meeting of forest and environment department in Patna.

Patna: Rising pollution levels have become cause of concern for not just leaders across the world but the issue has started troubling leaders in India as well. While Delhi is trying to work out ways to bring down the pollution level, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar directed officials to impose a ban on 15 year old diesel vehicles.
The decision was taken during a meeting of forest and environment department in Patna. He wants the department to launch a state-wide awareness drive to educate people, drivers and vehicle owners in particular about the growing pollution level in the air.
