Hyderabad: Amazon staffer ‘cheats’ Flipkart, arrested by cops

Hyderabad: Chikkadpally police arrested a current and former employee of Amazon for allegedly cheating Flipkart. The accused had bought an iPhone 6 and later sent a complaint that they had found paper and rubber instead of the phone. Flipkart refunded the money, but complained to the police to trace the missing iPhone. The cops found that the duo were cheating. Atul Sharma, an employee of Amazon, and his friend Naveen Kumar, a former employee, had placed the order in January this year. “They got the iPhone on the 19th and they paid Rs 51,590 to Flipkart. They handed over the original phone to one of their friends named Manish Sharma to hide it,” said Chikkadpally police inspector M. Sudarshan.
