Bengaluru: Auto-rickshaws’ wheels stolen

This sort of incident has happened for the first time in this locality.
Bengaluru: Residents of the J.C. Nagar in Mahalakshmi Layout woke up to the rude shock when they found wheels and batteries of three auto-rickshaws and a motorcycle, which were parked outside were missing on Thursday morning. Based on the complaint, the Mahalakshmi Layout police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe.
According to the police, this sort of incident has happened for the first time in this locality and the miscreants appeared to be desperate enough to steal wheels and the batteries of vehicles.
“We have sought help from the residents nearby to provide us CCTV footage to identify the people who are behind the theft,” a senior police officer said adding that the police would also intensity the beat to keep an eye. “We have asked the residents to be alert and report to us if they come across anything suspicious,” a senior police officer said.
