'Airlift' is slated to release on January 22nd 2016.

Mumbai: Music composer Ankit Tiwari, best known for his romantic numbers has now composed a song for singer Arijit Singh in Airlift. This is the first time that Arijit has sung a song composed by Ankit. According to a source, “A lot of singers had tried recording the song, but the music label felt that Arijit’s voice is best suited for the track. They contacted Arijit who agreed, and later Ankit and Arijit got together to record it. This is the first time that Ankit has composed such a peppy number. It’s called De Di.”
The song features Nimrat Kaur and Akshay Kumar. The film is set to release on January 22. According to Akshay Kumar’s online announcement, the song will release today. We contacted producer Bhushan Kumar who confirmed the news.
