Flight which was already delayed, reached Kochi airport at 10.58 pm and was to leave by 11.40 pm.
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor P. Sathasivam, who missed the late-evening Air India flight to Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, has written to Union civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, pointing out the insult by Air India officials, who could not accommodate him even though the ground staff had waited with boarding passes.
According to sources, the Governor was returning after attending a function in Kozhikode. AI officials had informed the Governor that the Delhi-Kochi-Thiruvanthapuram AI 048 flight would take off at 11.40 pm.
The flight, already delayed, reached Kochi airport at 10.58 pm and was to leave by 11.40 pm. Raj Bhavan sources said the Governor was disappointed by the attitude of AI officials.
