Mumbai: Bollywood star Anil Kapoor turns a year older today, and to ring in his birthday, the actor called on some of his closest pals from the industry.

Anil threw a private bash at his plush residence, that saw a galaxy of stars arrive to join the birthday boy as he blew out his 59 candles. The actor, who was seen in films like ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and Anees Bazmee's ‘Welcome Back’, invited his former co-stars to join the party.

His ‘DDD’ co-stars Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar and director Zoya Akhtar, were spotted arriving at the party that began late last evening and went on till the wee hours of the morning.

Varun Dhawan, who is currently at the top of his game, attended Anil’s party with rumoured girlfriend Natasha. The two arrived at the bash hand-in-hand, but refused to pose for pictures together.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who were at the ‘Star Wars’ premiere, drove off immediately after the screening, to wish their good friend all the success for the year ahead.

Kareena Kapoor and hubby Saif Ali Khan made a joint appearance, after a very long time. The two stars have been very busy with their work commitments. While Kareena was busy with her brand promotions and filming ‘Ki and Ka’ with Arjun Kapoor, Saif began work on his next project ‘Rangoon’.
