It was announced recently that Thiru will direct Vikram for an action film on the lines of the latter’s yesteryear blockbuster movies. There have been several speculations about the film's title. It was heard that the tentative title for the project is Mareesan. However, a source now says that the crew is planning to finalise Garuda as the title. Interestingly, Garuda was the title doing the rounds for the unconfirmed project of Rajamouli’s film with Jr NTR.
Meanwhile, the source adds that Kajal Aggarwal will be roped in to play the female lead, though the crew is yet to get an official nod from her. The actress is currently shooting for two Telugu films — Brahmotsavam and Sardaar Gabbar Singh opposite Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan respectively.
