Lucknow: 25-year-old Guddo Devi was in for a surprise when she discovered that she has given birth to conjoined twins after a Caesarean operation.
An extremely rare phenomena the twins are linked to each other by their stomach and share the vital organs and their two legs.
According to a report in The Daily Telegraph, 27-year-old Dalvir Singh form Uttar Pradesh, the father of the twins, said that the family did not know of the condition until the twins were delivered as he could not afford ultrasound procedure common during the regular check ups. He added that they never felt the necessity, as his wife never had any complaints during her pregnancy.
