Kerala: Man killed in bomb explosion
Sajeevan was not an active politician though he supported the Congress.
KANNUR: A 43-year-old man died in a bomb explosion while collecting wood from a secluded place near his home in Thalasserry on Monday at 12.30 pm.
The deceased was identified as Puthiyaandy Sajeevan of Chellayil kadappuram in Dharmadam.
According to police, Sajeevan used to collect wood from nearby places for his home needs and an attempt to open the country made bomb might have claimed his life.
Sajeevan was not an active politician though he supported the Congress. The area is a stronghold of the RSS-BJP. The left hand of the deceased was fully blown off in the explosion. Though the police searched the entire area after the incident, nothing was recovered.
