Actor Ram will be next seen in Nenu Sailaja — directed by debutant Kishore. His uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing the film in which Keerthi Suresh is making her Telugu debut.
Ram’s earlier film Sivam had not done well at the box-office and the actor now needs a hit. “Many people had said that my earlier films were routine. So, I want to try something new this time,” said the actor at the film’s audio release function.
He added that the film had a huge cast with many actors like Naresh, Pavitra, Rohini and Prince. “Actually, I was surprised when they selected Prince. But this time I decided to leave everything to the director,” says the actor.
Talking about the director, Ram said that he was basically a writer. “Many writers have proved to be successful directors too, so Kishore also adds to the successful writer-turned-directors’ list,” he added.
The actor also welcomed Keerthi Suresh to Telugu cinema. “Films are not new for her as she has acted in some award winning Malayalam films,” he said.
