Actress Simran, who made a comeback of sorts with the recent adult comedy Trisha Illana Nayanthara, will be seen in a powerful cameo in the thriller titled Karaiyoram where she essays an investigating officer. JKS, the director of the trilingual film vouches that it will be one of the most significant movies of Simran’s career. “I appear towards the climax of Karaiyoram, which is crucial for the ending. Yes, there is action involved, and I learnt everything from my stunt master,” Simran says. She has two more glam actresses Nikesha and Ineya for company.
The latter could not stop raving about her. “It was an amazing experience working with Simran madam, who has shared the screen with the likes of Kamal Haasan, Ajith and Vijay. There is a stunt sequence where I have to hit her. I was quite hesitant, but being a thorough professional, Simran gave me the confidence to go ahead with it, after all it is for the film,” says Ineya. The Kannathil Mutthamittal actor denied rumours that she is part of a horror movie directed by newcomer Bala. “It’s news to me,” she smiles.
