Salman Khan to commence cleanup drive on his 50th birthday
Mumbai: Along the lines of Narendra Modi’ Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Salman Khan himself commenced his own clean-up drive on November 1, 2015 by urging his fans to clean up their neighbourhood.
The actor, who was then gearing up for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, asked his fans to step outside and clean up their surroundings and also asked them to send him the videos and pictures, which he promised to share on his social media account. Now after a successful clean-up task, Salman is all set to take this campaign to the next level.
On the occasion of his 50th birthday on December 27, Salman will commence a clean-up drive where more than 500 volunteers will be nominated on social media to come and join him as the de-facto mascot for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The actor even took to his official twitter account to remind his fans about the campaign.
