Jagan Mohan Reddy meets President Pranab Mukherjee on Call Money
Hyderabad: Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday met President Pranab Mukherjee at Rastrapati Nilayam in Bollarum and complained against AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu regarding call money racket.
Mr Jagan also sought President’s intervention for special status to Andhra Pradesh as promised in the Parliament and also the formation of tribal advisory committee in AP. Mr Jagan alleged in his representation that Mr Naidu and his party was booking false cases against opposition leaders.
“Vijayawada city, which was adopted by Chief Minister as his seat of governance has turned into a crime capital with the call money racket spreading its net over gullible women and pushing them into sex racket,” Mr Jagan said.
Mr Jagan also took up the issue of suspension of YSRC MLA Roja and appealed the President to order enquiry with High Court sitting judge into the sex scandal and also to direct Assembly Speaker to revoke Roja’s suspension.
