Many directors do mistakes in their career, but only a few accept it gracefully. Top director V.V. Vinayak, who recently made the film Akhil, the debut film of Akhil Akkineni, which failed miserably at the box office, has taken the responsibility of the poor show.
“I tried something different for Akhil and we all believe that it would engage people. But the audience expectations were high as the film was not my kind, with a lot of twists and turns, and so, they were disappointed. This is the biggest mistake in my career,” he told reporters at Chagallu, his native village.
He promised to rectify the error in his next project, which is apparently the 151st movie of Megastar Chiranjeevi.
