Pune techie alleges rape

‘He said that he was suffering from mental dyslexia and was out of control.’

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old Pune-based techie, who came to Hyderabad for a job, alleged on social media that the police did not respond when she complained about sexual abuse by her house owner and another man.

In the video on Youtube she described how she was abused by the owner and alleged that he proposed to marry her but when she rejected it he forced her into sex.

She said the police had said, “Hyderabad is like this. Why did you come here to work?” Cyberabad SHE teams took up investigation. The woman said that she had completed PG in Pune and had joined a software firm.

She said that when her first owner did not provide adequate facilities she shifted to a flat owned by one Francis Joseph Xavier in Lingampally. She said she paid four month rent as advance to him. “He said he stays at the university hostel and that his furniture is on the ground floor and that I can occupy the first floor,” she said.

After some days he came to her flat to collect documents. She said he drugged her and took obscene pictures. Later, he started blackmailing her and forced her into sex.

“I resisted but could not escape. He said that he was suffering from mental dyslexia and was out of control. He offered to marry me but I rejected it,” she said in the video. He said that due to his disorder he had lost his IBM job and requested her to allow him to use her room and Net.

“I had to buy him food on may ocassions. But he raped me,” she said. The police did not get any complaint. “We are verifying the video. But, we could not trace the woman,” Cyberabad SHE teams in-charge Snehitha said.
