Trader found dead on road
He was found murdered by unidentified persons in Keesara area on Friday.
Hyderabad: Local businessman and owner of Balaji Metal Industries, G. Krishnamohan Rao, was found murdered by unidentified persons in Keesara area on Friday. The body was found half a kilometre away from his car that was parked on the road. His family suspects an old business partner is behind the murder. Krishnamohan Rao, 40, was a resident of Alwal and managing partner of the industrial unit located in Timayapalli village.
Friday morning, he was driving to the company in his Hyundai Verna car. Around 10 am, a passerby found him dead with deep injury marks on his body on the roadside in Timayapalli and alerted the police. Later, cops found his car lay abandoned on the road nearly a kilometre away from where the body lay. Cops suspect that he was waylaid, taken a distance away and murdered by a gang possibly at the behest of a business rival. “There is a deep injury mark on the back of his head. We are yet to establish how he was assaulted. The parking of the car on the roadside looked like it was stopped normally,” said Keesara inspector Guruva Reddy.
Krishnamohan’s family alleged that his old business partner Srinivas was behind the murder. “My husband had some financial disputes with Srinivas for the past five years. We suspect his role in the murder,” said Krishnamohan’s wife Shanthi Priya in her complaint to the police. On this basis, a murder case has been registered against Srinivas and a hunt was launched to trace him. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
