There is no doubt that you might be a cocktail connoisseur and have your own all time favourite. However, there might be many that you haven’t tried these wonderful cocktails yet and it’s the perfect time of the year to take a stab at.

Have you ever tried a Tiki Mexicana or ever had a proper Michelada? If your answer is no to these question, then you better get to drinking. We all have our preferences, some like gin, vodka or maybe you are more of a whiskey fan.

Set those biases aside for a while and start trying all these cocktails that have found its spot on our cocktail checklist. We have shared couple of cocktail recipes with you as well, now make these at your own place and enjoy them.

Michelada

Michelada is a Mexican cerveza preparada made with beer, lime juice, spices, pepper and assorted sauces. It is served in a salt-rimmed glass, chilled. This tastes fantastic and is a beer based cocktail and is lower in alcohol content. This cocktail has many variations and one can always customize it as per their choice.

Recipe: Michelada

Ingredients: Beer 320 ml, Juice of 1 lemon, Worcestershire sauce/ soy sauce 2 dashes, a dash of Tabasco sauce, a dash of black pepper, one pinch of salt.

Method: Mix all these ingredients together in a tall high glass and add beer in it. Remember to serve it chilled.

Bring the wild side of you out and give Pine Cup a try. Perfect fit for the winter season, this cocktail is a blend of dark and gold rum mixed with fresh pineapple juice, topped with cherry.

“Many of our cocktails serve more than one person, like Tiki Mexicana serves two people, the rum barrel serves around four. Some are served in very unique way like House of Eden is served in treasure box, Soul sacrifice served in pyramid structure and it serves around eight people,” says Raj Pandey, General Manager, Asado- The Cocktail Street.

Hyde and seek:

If Whiskey is your thing then you must surely go for Hyde and Seek. This classic cocktail is made freshly in front of you and you can feel the freshness of herbs and celery when you sip it. This cocktail is a blend of Bourbon Whiskey, French Rosemary and Celery infusion. Its served with fresh cherry and lots of ice.

Recipe: Hyde and seek

Ingredients: Bourbon whiskey 45ml, Fresh celery, 12ml of fresh rosemary syrup.

Method: Take a shaker and mix all these ingredients together in it. Take a whiskey glass and pour the mixture in it, infuse the drink with celery, add ice cubes and top it up with cherry.

Tiki Mexicana

As appealing as it looks, as tasty it tastes. Try this beautifully blended cocktail out of a barrel or a treasure chest. This is a lethal combo of white rum with cranberry juice which is intoxicated with fresh orange juice to give tangy flavour and tequila. Try out this cowboy drink from Tiki Island.

Soul Sacrifice

Drink out of pyramid. Yes, you heard me right, this drink is served to you in a customized equipment. This cocktail serves around 6-8 people. This is a mixture of brandy, dark rum, a dash of vintage wine, tequila blended with fruit juice and almond syrup. However one can also make this at home using the aforesaid ingredients as per your requirement.

Sangria Barcelona

This is fresh fruit red wine cocktail with a hint of brandy. The drink is filled with apple cubes, though you can always pick up a fruit of your choice.

Recipe: Sangria Barcelona

Ingredients: Red wine 45ml, Vodka and Gin 15ml each, Pineapple and Orange juice 20ml each.

Method: Mix all the spirits with juices together. Top it up with fresh fruit cubes of your choice, add some ice cubes and serve chilled.
