Jr NTR has apparently extended an olive branch towards Balakrishna.
For the last few years, the two actors from the Nandamuri family haven’t been on talking terms and that had a huge impact on Jr NTR’s career. According to a source, Jr NTR spoke to his uncle Balakrishna three days back. “A day after the actor came back from a hectic shooting schedule in Spain for his upcoming film Nannaki Prematho, he spoke to Balakrishna for a few minutes,” says the source.
During the last few weeks, the big talking point in the industry were the Sankranti releases. Both Balakrishna and Jr NTR’s films are in the festival race. The matter had become interesting given the differences between the two actors.
Our source reveals that a senior politician played a big part in the patch-up.
Interestingly, Jr NTR didn’t call his uncle from his own phone. “He called from a senior actor’s phone, who is very close to both of them. He apologised to his uncle for the past incidents between them,” says the source.
“As an outcome of this patch-up, there is a chance that Jr NTR’s film will be postponed by a week,” adds the source. Balakrishna may now attend as chief guest for Jr NTR’s Nannaki Prematho audio release function. “It all depends on Balakrishna’s decision. If he attends, it will be a big news,” says the source. Meanwhile, the audio release of Balakrishna’s Dictator will be held on Sunday at Amaravati.
