Osmania University students boycott exam

A majority of the students did not turn up for the second semester-end exam.
Hyderabad: Second year students of Osmania University’s science college proved that they mean business when a majority of the students did not turn up for even the second semester-end exam which was held on Wednesday. The students had threatened to boycott the exams before they started if the exams are not postponed claiming that they did not get enough preparation leave between the end of practicals and theory exams.
The gap given by the authorities was just of two days. They abstained from the first exam on Monday and Tuesday. First year students also abstained from the examinations. The university administration was hoping that the students would break ranks and attend the remaining exams. It is to be seen whether first and second year students would boycott the remaining exams as well.
