Bhooloham to release on December 24
Sources say Bhooloham revolves around the story of a boxer from north Madras.
It looks like Jayam Ravi’s much-awaited rom-com Bhooloham, which was put on hold for a long time due to financial issues, will hit the screens on December 24 for Christmas!
The official power-packed trailer that goes for one minute 36 seconds has been getting good reviews overall, and gives one a rough idea about what is in store for the audience. The film is directed by S P Jagannathan’s close associate N Kalyanakrishnan, and has music by Srikanth Deva.
Kalyanakrishnan confirmed with DC, “Yes, it will release as per schedule on that day. And I am quite happy that the film is finally getting released.” Bhooloham revolves around the story of a boxer from north Madras, and has Trisha playing his love interest. Sources say that Ravi has undergone intense training for the fight sequences with Australian wrestler-actor Nathan Jones, who has been an additional attraction in the film, and add that the team had to erect huge sets to shoot the climax of the film.
We also hear that one of the songs has been shot with a peculiar tradition being followed in Tamil Nadu, Masana Kollai. “It was so realistic that many times we had problems in differentiating between the actual pooja ceremony and the shoot,” Ravi had said before in an interview. Bhooloham took off in 2010, but it took five years to complete the shooting. Ravi’s brother director Mohan Raja wrote on Twitter, “So happy for the whole team. Ravi’s biggest hardwork till date. Waiting. All the best (sic).” Wishes have been pouring in for Ravi and team on social networking sites from actors like Vishnu Vishal as well.
