Chinese companies to invest in Telangana
Hyderabad: Chinese companies are favourably inclined to invest in Telangana State, according to Namgya C. Khampa, counsellor, trade, commerce and economic, Embassy of India in Beijing, China. Ms Khampa, accompanied by Gaurav Shresth, a senior official from the Ministry of External Affairs, met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday and discussed trade relations between China and Telangana state.
The CM had visited China and interacted with representatives of several Chinese companies recently. A Chinese business delegation had also visited Hyderabad to study investment opportunities. Ms Khampa informed the Chief Minister that Chinese corporate sector had studied the Telangana state government’s new one-stop IPASS clearance policies and investments in various sectors and were positively inclined to invest in the state.
Mr Chandrasekhar Rao informed Ms Khampa about his interaction with Chinese business representatives and said that the TS government would provide all the facilities needed for investors. He explained the new clearance policy, power cut-free State and other facilities being provided by the government.
