Salman will be celebrating his 50th birthday on December 27.
Mumbai: While there are speculations about Salman Khan tying the knot with Romanian friend Iulia Vantur early next year, Deepika Padukone very aptly and timely put it when she was asked about the gift she would like to give the star on his 50th birthday, on December 27.
When Deepika was asked at a media interaction about it, the actress without batting an eyelid said, “I would like to gift him a bride.”
Ever since Salman Khan has been acquitted in the 2002 hit-and-run case, chorus for the star to get married has begun with speculations rife that his legal cases is what kept him away from marrying.
On work front, Deepika is gearing up for the release of 'Bajirao Mastani' and Salman Khan is currently shooting for 'Sultan'. There were reports of the actress being approached for the lead role in 'Sultan', however she dismissed the rumours. Deepika siad, "It is not my film because I am not part of that film."
The actress also revealed that post her appearance with Salman on Bigg Boss, she received messages from directors saying how good they looked as a couple and that they should do a film together. “What did happen after that Bigg Boss episode was lot of directors messaged me saying, ‘We saw that episode and you have to do a film with Salman.’
Deepika, too, expressed her desire to pair up with Salman and said anything would look good with him. “Of course, I want to work with Salman, I want to do a film with him, but it has to be the right film at the right time.
