BENGALURU: While there's no question that the young man driving his father's car was speeding, and did not have a valid driver's license, the brother of one of the three boys who died in Saturday's accident at Manchappanahally near Budigere Cross, says that the poor state of the roads in Bengaluru Rural were partly responsible.

Harrison, brother of Charles Froylin, who died in the accident, visited the accident spot on Monday. “We agree, the sedan had eight teenagers including the driver stuffed inside, but it should also be noted that the car could have lost control when it hit the underground drainage pipe that was sticking out,” he said.
