The audio for the 26th venture of Golden Star Ganesh — Style King directed by PC Sekar of the Romeo and Arjuna fame was recently released in full ish-style with a rendition by music composer Arjun Janya and his team. Ganesh is pinning his hopes on this one after his previous release Buguri failed to make an impact at the box office.
Sufi touch to Ishtakamya
Writer-director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar of the Baa Nalle Madhuchandrake and America America fame, has given a Sufi touch to his upcoming project — Ishtakamya starring Vijay Surya, Mayoori and Kavya Shetty. Popular sufi singer Mukhtiar Ali recently recorded a song for the film. The director has chosen one of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s poems for the song by the Sufi singer.
Run Antony starts running!
Vinay Raghavendra Rajkumar is geared up to run at the box office after his grand debut Siddhartha failed to make waves, with Run Antony. Though director Prem kick-started his second innings, the project was shelved later for various reasons. Run Antony is directed by debutant Raghu Shastri and produced under the prestigious home banner Vajreshwari Combines.
