A Nandamuri clash on cards

Balakrishna’s Dictator and Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho could release on the same day.

This Sankranti will see a big war between two Nandamuri stars, Jr NTR and Balakrishna. The latter first announced that he would be releasing his film Dictator during Sankranti.

The film’s shooting is almost complete except for a song which is being shot in Hyderabad this week. The audio of the film will release in Amaravati on December 20.

Meanwhile, shooting for Jr NTR’s Nannaki Prematho is also going on and the actor also wants to release his film during the festival. According to a source, he is forcing the producer to release at that time come what may.

Generally, actors from the same family avoid their films clashing. For example, the films of Allu Arjun and Charan never clash at the box-office. But when it comes to the Nandamuri family, it’s a different story.

The differences between Balayya and Jr NTR have widened in the last couple of years and even the Telugu Desam has distanced itself from Jr NTR.

“The community people are putting pressure on theatre owners not to run his film against Balakrishna’s,” says a source from the Nandamuri family. Even the fans will be against Jr NTR if he sticks to the same date.

“He has to patch up with his uncle and postpone the release date if he wants his film to be successful,” adds the source.
