Catch the first look of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 'Sarbjit'

Darshan Kumar of ‘Mary Kom’ fame is the latest entrant in the ‘Sarabjit’ cast.
Mumbai: Omung Kumar’s next directorial film ‘Sarabjit’, has officially kicked off today. The biopic is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer, who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan. Reports stated that inmates in a prison in Lahore, attacked him in 2013, that lead to his death a few days later.
Randeep Hooda will play the role of Sarabjit. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur. Richa Chaddha has also been roped in the film, to play the part of Sarabjit’s wife. The team will be shooting for 70-days in Punjab.
Producer Vashu Bhagnani took to his Twitter handle to share his picture along with director Omung Kumar and the clapper. Darshan Kumar of ‘Mary Kom’ fame is the latest entrant in the ‘Sarabjit’ cast. Earlier, it had been reported that Kangana Ranaut was roped in for the film when director Hansal Mehta was to helm the project.
