The annual Forbes India Celebrity 100 list for 2015 is out, featuring regular names like SRK topping it, followed by Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. While biggies like actors Vijay and Ajith didn’t make it to the list, comedian-turned-hero Santhanam has made it to this year’s top 100! It is also interesting to note that Dhanush seems to have gained importance in India’s celeb index and is ranked ahead of his father-in-law Rajinikanth. Dhanush has been listed in the 37th position grossing an earning of Rs 42 crore — and has pushed behind both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, who are in 69th and 46th positions respectively.
However, Dhanush reacts to DC on the list — “I don’t want to make any remarks because Rajini sir is the Superstar and always will be. No one can beat him.” The annual Forbes India Celebrity 100 list is compiled using various measures such as popularity of celebrities on social media, Google search, press coverages, magazine covers, gross pre-tax income and so on.
