I have faced bias in various countries: Sonam Kapoor

Mumbai: Fashionista Sonam Kapoor is known for her glam quotient and has represented India on the international stage several times. At a recent event TV channel discussion, she shared about-facing discrimination due to her Asian skin.

She confessed that she had faced discrimination in different countries always. She feels that the moment people see brown skin they start judging you. She also spoke about the drawbacks of being good-looking at the summit, “People automatically treat you differently. If they see a pretty girl, they treat her differently but at the same time they judge you in a different way. They feel you are always in ‘parda’ or your parents are very conservative”.
