Nothing to worry about Captain’s health: DMDK
Chennai: DMDK party headquarters on Friday said there were unconfirmed reports on party founder Vijayakanth’s health. Vijayakanth suffered severe fever last week due to his non-stop tour of flood-hit areas. Bad roads and poor sanitation in rain-hit areas prolonged his fever and body ache, the party said in a statement.
Several reporters and office-bearers of DMDK are now calling the party office enquiring about his health and want to know whether he is hospitalised. The party founder is not hospitalised but has been complaining about fatigue as he was on a tour visiting flood victims of Chennai, Tiruvallur and Cuddalore. Despite medical advice to take rest, he has chosen to hand over relief to the affected public. There is nothing to worry about the MLA’s health, the statement said.
