Orders on Srini’s quash plea reserved
The CBI has charged Srinivasan with pumping money into firms owned by Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy
Hyderabad: Justice B. Siva Shankar Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday reserved orders on a petition filed by India Cements managing director N. Srinivasan seeking to quash criminal proceedings initiated against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the illegal investments case of YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The CBI has charged Srinivasan with pumping money into firms owned by Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy for alleged undue favours extended to India Cements during the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy regime.
The petitioner contended that the CBI had failed to prove that he had invested money in Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s firms.
