After a long time legendary couple Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala are back together, for Sri Sri directed by Muppalaneni Siva. “The title will remind you of the great poet Sri Sri. The poet enlightened people with his writings and film shows the same through the characters,” says Krishna, adding that his wife Vijaya Nirmala and he are playing the main characters in the film.
Interestingly, Vijaya Nirmala’s son Naresh, is also acting in the film, as a police officer. “I started acting at the age of seven and now I am 70 and making a comeback into films. If this kind of characters come we are both ready to do more films,” says Vijaya Nirmala, adding that the story is very interesting.
Director Muppalaneni Siva, who had made his debut with Gharana Alludu that starred Krishna in 1994, is directing the legendary actor after many years. The makers are planning to release the film in February 12 next year.
