Several Tamil and Telugu actors are pitching their best by way of contributing money and involving in relief and rescue measures to bring back Chennai as well as other parts of Tamil Nadu, which were terribly affected by the torrential rains to normalcy.
Actors like Rajinikanth, Suriya, Karthi, Sivakumar, Dhanush and others from Kollywood and the likes of Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR also contributed towards the flood relief fund. Now, the child artiste-turned-heroine Sri Divya who is only five films old in Tamil, has joined the list and surprised everyone by contributing Rs 10 lakhs towards the CM Flood Relief Fund through the Nadigar Sangam recently.
Her philanthropic gesture came in for praise and has prompted many others in the industry to donate for the cause. The actress is presently shooting in Rajapalayam for the film Marudhu where she shares screen space with Vishal.
