After donning lead roles in Rudramadevi and Inji Iduppazhagi, seems like Anushka will be seen in yet another female-centric film. Billed as a fantasy thriller, the film which has been titled Rudraaksh will have veteran Tollywood director Krishna Vamsi wileding the megaphone.
A source says, “A story has been narrated to Anushka and she is impressed with it. More than the story, she is heard to be keen on working in Krishna Vamsi’s film, and that everything depends on her dates. The actress is busy with other projects like Baahubali 2 and Singam 3, so the project is still in discussion. She has not yet signed the contract.”
It’s heard that the director is also looking for fresh faces as the script needs five young actors. Meanwhile, Anushka’s Singam 3 schedule in Vizag has been postponed due to the flood. “Many stars are busy helping with the flood relief, so the film’s shooting has been postponed for a few weeks,” adds the source.
