Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting in West Bengal for Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming film 'Te3n'. The actor has been beating extreme weather conditions, as he shoots late night and early morning scenes in different parts of the state.
Amitabh, who has been spotted around the city, has been shooting scenes at graveyards, courthouses, forests and even on the busy city streets. Last week, the shoot was turned into a major administrative exercise, with police and private security guards circling the forest area, where the star was shooting a few scenes. According to reports, over 350 armed personnel, including those from Rapid Action Force (RAF), had been posted at the location.
The actor took to his Twitter handle to keep his fans in the loop about his filming schedule. His message read, "Intense work, intense location, intense weather and an intense well wisher quotient .. !!"
Amitabh posted a series of pictures on his blog and wrote, "So .. yes the days’ work in the forests that surround the Bolpur region of West Bengal somewhat north of Kolkata, breathing distance from literary divinity, that finds abode in the quietude of Shantiniketan, is over .. and so is the exciting drive back to base 150 odd kilometers away .. excellent roads, clean and neat .. hospitable wayside Inns .. and a million trucks at any given time ; decorated in the aestheticism of each owner, individualised in the choice of the coloured lights that adorn every protrusion in the body of the metallic monolith !"
He was all praises for the efficient police force, he added, "AND .. have to say .. a most efficient POLICE force, that monitors your ride at every step .. guiding, clearing and paving your journey by some incredible road management, which would be a nightmare in any other Western Developed World !! Thank you KOLKATA Police .. ! You are and have been so generous kind and most considerate .."
