Honeywell to work with SMEs
Honeywell India has diversified interests in aerospace, engineering services etc.
Hyderabad: US-based conglomerate Honeywell is interested in working with SMEs in the city, spread across several domains, informed a senior company official on Thursday. Honeywell India president Anant Maheshwari said, “We would like to work with the SMEs in sectors like manufacturing and components, energy and services etc.”
Honeywell India has diversified interests in aerospace, engineering services etc., while Hyderabad has around 1,000 SMEs working in aerospace division, which is expected to play an vital role in developing the aerospace ecosystem in the state.
On the growth of its Indian business, Mr Maheshwari said, “We expect our Indian business to grow at double the rate of the country’s GDP.” India’s GDP is expected to grow by 7.9 per cent next fiscal. Mr Maheshwari was speaking on the sidelines of announcement of partnership with Safe Water to install 300 iJal safe water stations in TS.
