Motorola launches Moto G Turbo at Rs 14,499 in India

The turbo charging facility can keep the device running for close to six hours.

Mumbai: Motorola has recently been on a role and it does not look like they are going to diminish their efforts any time soon. The company on Thursday launched the much-anticipated Moto G Turbo.

The device is essentially aimed to compete with other mid-ranged handsets in the Indian Smartphone market.

As far as specifications are concerned, the handset features a 5-inch HD display (1280x720 pixels) with a pixel density of 294ppi, which is decent for a mid-ranged smartphone.

At its core, the Moto G Turbo will run on a Android Lollipop 5.1 OS and will make the most of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 1.5 GHz octa-core CPU, Adreno 405 GPU, and 2GB RAM. In terms of storage, the handset has an internal storage capacity of 16GB and can be expanded to 32GB via external micorSD card.

On the camera front, the device will sport a 13MP rear camera set-up along with a CCT dual LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. It also supports recording videos on full HD resolution. With a horde of camera enhancement applications and diverse modes, the handset is likely to shine in this department.

The device will have support for fast charging, which makes up for its average 2,470mAh battery. The turbo charging facility can keep the device running for close to six hours. In terms of connectivity, the handset will feature Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE connectivity as well. The device is also IP-67 certified for dust and water repellence, which is indeed another plus-point.

The smartphone is currently available on Flipkart India’s website at a selling price of Rs 14,499.
