Hyderabad High Court: Petition allowed on civil judges’ posts

Mr Reddy, who had moved the PIL.

Hyderabad: A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale and Justice S.V. Bhatt of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday permitted Sarasani Satyam Reddy, senior counsel to move a review petition on interim orders granted by the bench on Tuesday permitting the registry to go ahead with appointments of junior civil judges.

Mr Reddy, who had moved the PIL as a party in person seeking stay on the judicial appointments till bifurcation of the High Court, on Wednesday told the bench that he was not present when the court granted the interim order due to miscommunication and he has objections on the interim order. He contended that passing orders without hearing him was against the basic principles of law and urged the court to stay the interim orders.

While Mr Reddy was making the mention, TS advocates reached the court hall and sensing tension, security personnel also rushed there. The bench said that if the senior counsel has any objection he has right move the review petition on Thursday.
