P Narayana call to plant saplings
Mr Narayana asked the officials to provide employment to workers in the capital city area by developing plants.
Vijayawada: Minister P. Narayana here on Tuesday instructed the officials to develop plantations in Amaravati capital city. Reviewing with the officials of Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority (APCRDA) at its office here, Mr Narayana asked the officials to provide employment to workers in the capital city area by developing plants.
He also asked the officials to implement plans for developing greenery in Amaravati capital city. Saplings should be planted on the road side, parks, government offices, vacant places and playgrounds, he said. Mr Narayana also visited Karnati Ramamo-hana Rao municipal corporation upper primary school here and spent with students for some time.
On this occasion, he interacted with the teachers also instructed them to provide foundation course for students who want to prepare competitive exams.
He also asked the corporation officials to introduce foundation course in all municipal schools. Mayor Koneru Sridhar and commissioner G Veerapandyan and several officials were also present.
