All roads to villages to be ready in three years: Chandrababu Naidu

Naidu said that the government is receiving positive response from the public by providing road connectivity.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Tuesday said that the government would complete all roads in the villages across the state in the next three years.
Participating in a teleconference with officials, Mr Naidu said that the government is receiving positive response from the public by providing road connectivity. He asked the officials to focus on completing the targets as per schedule.
The government’s main priority is rural development, he said, and added that officials should focus on maintenance of roads, internal roads and waste management plants.
The officials should conduct meetings and review the position, he said. The existing welfare schemes should be implemented effectively, he said.
Panchayat raj secretary Jawahar Reddy was also present.
Meanwhile, Mr Naidu expressed condolence over the death of masjid imam Moulana Hafeez Kari Alhaz Abdulla Kureshi Al Azari Rehemtulla Alia, who is Mecca masjid imam. He said that people from all sections honoured his devotional speeches. He said that the imam had extended his great services as Vice-Chancellor status for Islamic students.
He also expressed his sympathy to the family members of the imam.
