Kakinada: State Medical and Health minister Kamineni Srinivas said that Chief Minister N. Chandrbabu Naidu and Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate AIIMS hospital on Dember 18 at Mangalagiri.
Inaugurating a private laboratory at Amalap-uram on Tuesday along with Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa, Mr Srinivas said that the AIIMS is being set up at a cost of Rs 1,618 crores at Mangalagiri.
He said that the state government was making efforts to provide corporate medical facilities to every poor in the state. He said that the government was taking steps to solve faculty issues in the medical colleges soon.
Mr Srinivas said that there was 30 per cent shortage in faculty in medical colleges and the state government was making efforts to address the issue at the earliest.
