Samsung Galaxy S7 may cost 10 per cent less than predecessor S6
Samsung had also taken steps to cut down prices of their current flagship Galaxy S6 phones.

Mumbai: According to famous China-based analyst Pan Jiutang, Samsung’s next flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 is likely to be priced 10 per cent lesser than the current Galaxy S6.
Although there has been no official confirmation from Samsung, cutting down the price will help the company to stand out amongst other top players such as Apple, HTC, Sony and many more.
Currently, Samsung is facing hard-hitting competition from the likes of Apple at the top-end spectrum of the market, and emerging manufacturers such as Xiaomi and OnePlus have significantly eaten up quite a bit of Samsung’s total smartphone sales in India. Samsung has been loosing out on sales since they launched the S5, as many users critistised the South-Korean company of not being able to keep up with the latest technolohgies, which Apple has been doing capably.
However, Saumsung's latest devices have shown huge signs of improvement and the new price-cut strategy for flagships might help them reagin the top spot once agains. Samsung’s Galaxy S7, which is speculated to launch in the next two to three months, has managed to seek decent amount of attention after it managed to attain a notably high benchmark score on AnTuTu for it’s eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
Interestingly, Samsung had also taken steps in the past to cut down prices of their flagship Galaxy S6 phones to maintain a steady momentum in the market. The S7 is rumoured to be one of the best upcoming phones and having a lower price will surely help them regain their position in the Indian smartphone market.
