Telugu Desam has no plans to start TV channel for publicity
Visakhapatnam: Hitting at the YSRC supremo and Opposition leader in the Assembly Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, national general secretary of Telugu Desam Nara Lokesh said TD has no intention to start its TV news channel or newspaper to propagate party ideology and promote the party leaders.
Addressing a public meeting at Cheedikada area in Vizag district on Monday as part of Jana Chaitanya Yatra, Mr Lokesh said that former CM late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and his son Y.S. Jagan have done nothing for the development of Andhra Pradesh hence Jagan has faced backlash from people in the elections.
The young TD leader assured that he will take all steps to implement all the schemes in V. Madugula constituency, where Telugu Desam lost in the elections. He appealed to the activists of TD to carry forward the welfare measures burying their own differences in the interest of the people.
Reassuring that all the nominated posts would be filled soon, Mr Lokesh said he would be with every party worker in the state who should understand the welfare schemes and take them to the people.
Replying to the people’s demand at the meeting, Mr Lokesh said that TD will complete the all the irrigation projects in V. Madugula constituency to bring smiles on the farmers’ faces. Mr Lokesh visited the colonies in Cheedikada and interacted with the womenfolk and others.
